Bio

From studying Photography and Printmaking at SCAD to nearly two decades in Venice, California, working as a Creative Director and Product Design Strategist, my career has always balanced design with a passion for painting. Now based in the NYC suburbs, I’m a full-time artist, reconnecting with the creative energy of my early days. I continue to push creative boundaries, embracing each new challenge with the same drive and curiosity that has always fueled my work.

Statement

For me, art is the ultimate transformation—turning the raw and the everyday into something vivid and expressive. My work bridges spontaneity with intention, reflecting my journey from structured design to the open canvas. Inspired by artists like Frankenthaler, Matisse, and Rauschenberg, I work with acrylics, ink, and found objects, layering color, texture, and form into mixed media pieces that spark joy and curiosity. My process is both instinctual and deliberate; whether I’m working with bold color play or intricate patterns, each piece aims to connect and engage.

Recent highlights include a solo show, a juried group exhibition where I received Honorable Mention from the Camp Gallery in Miami, and being featured in Vogue. I am currently collaborating with Anthropologie on prints and was recently shortlisted for the 2024 Contemporary Collage Magazine Awards.
