Channel
54 x 72 x 1.5”
Mixed media on canvas.
"Channel" unfolds as a visual dialogue, a fusion of form and space that invites contemplation. With its commanding dark blocks interspersed with vivid pops of color and playful patterns, this piece—third in the SCAD series—invokes the diverse channels of communication that shape our world. Just as a channel conveys messages that resonate and connect, the bold strokes and scattered motifs here echo the varied tunes that accompany me in the studio, allowing the process of creation to flow as freely as the music itself. "Channel" is a reminder to the viewers, the young residents of SCAD, that amidst life's noise, there's beauty in what we choose to broadcast and receive.
