Taco
60x40x1.5” Diptych (30x40x1.5” each)
Mixed media canvas.
Hey there, taco lovers! I was in the middle of painting when hunger struck and I couldn't resist the call of tacos. And thus, this quirky and whimsical diptych was born - perfect for brightening up your kitchen or dining room and bringing a smile to your face.
These two pieces are meant to be hung tightly together, but feel free to switch things up by flipping one of them 180˚. They're made with a mix of spray paint, tempera stick, pigment sticks, pencils, graphite, acrylic paint, and finished off with a satin varnish.
The pops of fluorescent pink, magenta, and Naples yellow are balanced out by the calming neutral cyan and green grays, with the contrast of the Payne's gray bringing everything together.
