In a dream, I was flooded with an array of memories of a hiking trail I used to frequent with my father as a child. Multiple scenes that I remember from the trail have been compiled into this singular composition.
As you enter the trail, you cross a bridge that leads to an open straw field, filled with butterflies and bugs floating around. Past the field, the trail suddenly turns shady from the tall pines lining the river. You can feel the hollow peat covered ground tamping under your footsteps as you climb towards the windy path that leads to the next surprise.
