Living walking distance to the beach? The dream! Every room buzzed with color (my roomie was a colorist at Herman Miller). The crappy old fridge I painted red, the checkered floor and chalkboard wall in the kitchen. The bathroom, coral. The living room, retro lime and aqua. These pieces are explorations in color-memories that come straight from that time—scrappy, sunlit, and full of offbeat charm.
